Frequently asked questions

What does an accounting firm do?

It keeps the company’s books, prepares its financial statements and calculates its taxes. A good firm also explains your numbers and warns you early about anything that could turn into a problem.

Can you keep the books under IFRS or US GAAP?

Yes. We prepare financial information under Mexican Financial Reporting Standards, IFRS and US GAAP. This is common for subsidiaries that report to headquarters abroad.

Do you work with companies outside Mexico City?

Yes. Our office is in Mexico City and we work remotely with companies in other states. In Puebla and Tamaulipas we are present through allied firms.

What if my books are behind?

First we review what is missing and tell you what needs to be brought up to date. Then we start the monthly work.
